WHAT DOES AN EYE EXAM INCLUDE?

An optometrist uses several tests and tools to evaluate your vision and eye health. Your eye exam usually will include a glaucoma test, (a retinal screening, not included but recommended), a visual field screening, an extraocular muscle test, and a refraction test. The results of these screenings and tests help your optometrist evaluate your vision and overall eye health.

WHAT SHOULD I BRING TO THE EYE EXAM?

It is helpful to bring your current glasses or contact lenses with case. If you have any specific questions, feel free to call our office or discuss them with the doctor during your exam.

WHAT IS A RETINAL SCREENING?
